Privacy Policy
We're not interested in hoarding your data — we collect and store the minimum needed to run Sugary, and this page tells you exactly what that is.
Last updated: 28 July 2026Overview
Sugary LLC (“Sugary”, “we”, “us”) is committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information across our app, our website and every other way you interact with our services (collectively, our “Services”).
Using our Services means you accept this Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with it, please don't use our Services — and if anything here is unclear, contact us before you continue.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and for material changes we may also notify you directly. Continuing to use our Services after we've told you about a change means you've accepted it.
Information we collect
We collect personal information — anything that identifies or could identify you — and non-personal information, which doesn't. When the two are combined, we treat the result as personal information. Depending on how you use our Services, that can include:
- Contact details — name, address, email, phone number.
- Demographic details — date of birth, gender.
- Device details — IP address, browser and OS, device type and identifiers.
- Payment details — card numbers and other information needed to process payment.
- Location — derived from your IP address.
- Gift recipient details — to deliver a gift, we need the recipient's name and contact information, whether you provide it directly or they enter it themselves via Gift Link™.
- Gift messages — a note attached to a gift may be visible to others involved in that order, so please avoid including sensitive information in one.
You can always decline to give us personal information, though that may stop you from using parts of our Services or getting a response to your enquiry.
How we collect it
We collect personal information when you:
- Visit our website or use our app
- Create an account
- Correspond with us, including surveys and promotions
- Sign up for our newsletter or promotional messages
- Contact customer support
- Otherwise interact with us, online or offline
We also use cookies — small files stored on your device that remember your preferences and how you use our Services — for analytics and to manage your session. You can set your browser to block or flag cookies, though some features may stop working properly if you do. Our Services don't currently change behavior in response to a “Do Not Track” signal.
How we use it
We use personal information to:
- Provide and improve our Services
- Process and fulfil your transactions
- Respond to your requests, feedback and enquiries
- Manage your account
- Measure performance and develop new features
- Personalize the Services and any marketing we send you
- Run surveys and promotions you choose to join
- Meet legal, regulatory or fraud-prevention obligations
We may combine information from different sources into a single customer profile, used for the purposes above, and we keep it for as long as we need it — including for backup, accounting and audit purposes.
How we protect it
We aim to transmit and store your personal information securely, and we may ask you to verify your identity before we disclose it back to you. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — if you suspect unauthorized access to your information, contact us immediately.
Data transfers
Sugary operates globally, so the information we collect may be transferred to, stored and processed in any country where our partners or service providers operate. Wherever your information travels, we keep protecting it in line with this policy.
Children's privacy
Our Services aren't for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
Your rights
We don't share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing without your consent. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request removal of content you've posted through our Services — though this may not guarantee complete removal. To exercise a privacy right, contact us using the details below.
Your choices
- Access, update or delete — request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time, subject to legal exceptions.
- Email marketing— unsubscribe any time via the link in our emails. You'll still receive emails necessary to operate the Services.
- Text messages — reply “STOP” to opt out, or follow the instructions in the message.
- Cookies — adjust your browser or device settings to block or limit cookies; some features may not work as well as a result.
Third-party sites
Our Services may link to websites or apps run by third parties. This policy doesn't cover what happens on those sites — we don't control, and aren't responsible for, their privacy practices.
